Basuki Appealed Workers Not to Ruin Public Facilities

Jakarta Governor Basuki T. Purnama (Ahok) appealed the workers who participate in rally not to damage the public facility. If any, he will pursue to the court.

Satpol PP personnel, who guard the rally, will assist the governor by recording the mass.

"I already told you. Do not damage the plant pot, street lights, and etc. We'll take a picture of you," he uttered, Tuesday (9/1).

Djarot: Workers, Please Do Demonstration Orderly

According to him, he does not prohibit anyone to stage a rally. It's a citizen right.

"But please done it orderly," he added.

The threat is surely will be applied since the City Administration together with City Police had applied 5 Order. Those are orderly rally, orderly housing, orderly street vendor, orderly disposal site, and orderly traffic.

"Previously, we had no action. But today is different," he said.

As reported earlier, workers around Indonesia will hold a rally today. They ask for higher province minimum wage, no employment dismissal (PHK), reachable staple food and fuel price, and no foreign worker.
